The power of advertising with Google

We launched a website for a new B&B late one Wednesday afternoon at the same time we started a Google advertising campaign. The campaign focused on all the obvious relevant keywords and phrases such as B&B Scarborough, bed breakfast Scarborough etc. and the adverts appeared on Page 1 of the search results. By Thursday afternoon the client had already received 5 enquiries by email and two phone calls.

Advertising on Google isn’t for everyone, sometimes the cost is very high, but local targeted advertising can be very effective, of course you need to make sure you’ve got a great website!
